DMLAI is a product of JAL Technology LLC, a company organized in the United States, and our Services are available to users worldwide.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Content you submit: text prompts, captions, keywords, and any images, photos, or videos you upload or paste into the Services to generate or enhance content.
  • Account information (optional): if you create an account or sign in, your name, email address, and authentication details.
  • Communications: messages, feedback, or support requests you send us, including your email address and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage & device data: IP address, approximate location (country/region), browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and interactions with the Services.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: small files and identifiers used for essential functionality and privacy-friendly analytics (see Section 5).

2. AI processing & your uploads

Our Services use artificial intelligence to generate and edit images, captions, hooks, hashtags, subtitles and similar content. To do this, your prompts and any content you upload may be transmitted to and processed by third-party AI infrastructure and model providers that power the Services. These providers process your input only to generate the requested output and return it to you. For example, text, script and image generation use providers such as OpenAI and Pollinations; AI voiceover and dubbing use a text-to-speech provider (such as OpenAI); and the AI Video generator additionally sends the AI-generated scene image and its dialogue audio to a video-generation provider (fal.ai, running the VEED Fabric talking-video model) to make the character speak with lip-sync. We do not control, and are not responsible for, these providers' own data practices, which are governed by their respective policies.

All images and content produced by the Services are artificially generated or AI-assisted. They are not real photographs of real events unless you supplied such material. You are responsible for how you label and use AI-generated content, including complying with any applicable AI-disclosure or labeling laws (such as the EU AI Act).

Where the Services run in your browser (for example, video reel creation, HD sharpening, or locally-stored content history), that processing happens on your own device and the underlying files are not uploaded to us.

Photos you upload for AI transformations (including any optional second photo, such as a childhood photo for the "Younger Self" effect) and text you submit for AI voiceovers are transmitted to our AI providers (such as OpenAI) solely to generate your requested result; DMLAI does not permanently store them. Brand Kit details (such as your name or handle) and saved content ("My Content") live only in your browser's local storage on your device โ€” not on our servers. Videos and images you generate are saved only in your browser (using local storage and IndexedDB on your device) so they persist across page refreshes until you delete them; we do not keep copies of your generated videos on our servers. Accounts & credits: if you sign in, your email and authentication are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase), and any pre-paid video-motion credits are recorded against your account; payments are processed by Stripe and we never see or store your full card number. Referral program: if you choose to join, we store your email address, your referral code and the emails entered by friends who use your link, solely to operate the program and grant rewards; you may request deletion at any time via info.dmlai@gmail.com.

3. Biometric data

We do not use facial recognition. When you upload a photo that contains a face, we do not scan facial geometry, create faceprints or biometric templates, identify or verify any individual, or use the image to recognize the same person elsewhere. We do not collect or store "biometric identifiers" or "biometric information" as defined under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Photos are used only to produce the output you request and are handled as described in Section 7.

4. How we use information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Services and generate the content you request.
  • To improve, troubleshoot, secure and develop the Services and prevent abuse, fraud and misuse.
  • To respond to your messages and provide support.
  • To understand aggregate usage through privacy-friendly analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

For users in the EU, UK and similar regions, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to provide the Services you request), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (for non-essential cookies/analytics, where required), and legal obligation. We do not use your personal information for solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies: those that are strictly necessary for the site to function, and privacy-friendly analytics (for example, Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the Services. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to build advertising profiles about you. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and where required we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as follows:

  • Service providers / sub-processors: trusted vendors who help us run the Services, such as hosting and content delivery (e.g., Vercel); AI model, image, voice and video providers that process your prompts and uploads (e.g., OpenAI, Pollinations, and fal.ai running the VEED Fabric talking-video model); authentication (Supabase); and analytics providers (e.g., Google). They may process data only on our instructions.
  • Payments: if you buy pre-paid credits, our payment processor (Stripe) handles the transaction and your card details directly; we receive only limited confirmation data (such as whether payment succeeded) and never store your full card number.
  • Legal & safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users, the public, or JAL Technology LLC.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • With your direction: when you choose to download, post or share your content.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Prompts and uploads are processed to generate your output and are not retained by us for longer than needed to provide the Service; generation is performed on demand through third-party AI infrastructure. Any "My Content" history is stored locally in your own browser and can be cleared by you at any time. Server logs and aggregate analytics are kept for a limited period for security and operational purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

8. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Services from the EU, UK, or other regions, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) to protect your information during such transfers.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Portability โ€” receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (EU/UK users).

To exercise any right, contact us at support@dmlai.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Additional rights for US state residents (California & others)

If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA), and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email support@dmlai.com. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Categories of personal information we may collect: identifiers (e.g., IP address, email if provided), internet/usage activity, approximate location, and the content you submit. We collect these for the business purposes described in Section 4.

11. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@dmlai.com and we will delete it.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
